THE GREAT SCHLEP


Role: Design

Our assignment was to help Barack Obama win the Presidency of the United States, by helping him motivate critical swing voter blocks in a battleground state. The key to winning the election was winning Florida. And the key to winning Florida was swinging the elderly Jewish Vote.

So we created an online grassroots movement to get Jewish grandchildren to educate their grandparents about Obama. Our solution consisted of a community a viral film hosted by Sarah Silverman, a re-designed JewsVote.org, Great Schlep Facebook groups and heaps of Great Schlep-branded merchandise. (Droga5)

Real time pizza tracking widget that piggy backs Domino's existing tracking technology. It gives customers the ability to track the status of their order, step by step in real time all the way down to who at Dominos was putting their pizza in the oven or who was delivering your pizza. This BK Germany site launches three new extreme Grill Festival Burgers with full throttle BK icon; Gunter Hicks. Made to feel like back yard production, girls can upload their photo eating a Grill Festival Burger in a bikini. Users can then vote on their favorites. The campaign targeted those parents trying to have a conversation about drugs to their kids. As we all know, the "drug talk" is not an easy thing to do. So we created a campaign that spoke to parents about NOT sounding like their parents did back in the day by celebrating and sharing those horrific and sometimes scary past drug talks. VW – VDUBS AMP DIVER BANNER


Role: Design

This Amp Diver banner was designed to generate interest in VW's GarageMaster guitar promotion. The impressive thing about these guitars is that they plug directly into the Vdub's stereo system and play through its speakers, turning the car into the world's fastest amp. So this banner was a fun way to let users plug in and test rock the guitar and its mobile amp. Users rock out by jumping and diving off the amp through intuitive mouse movements. The rocker accomplishes a variety of moves, jumps and guitar maneuvers which trigger corresponding licks, wails and jams. The banner pointed users to Vdubsrock.com where they could further experience features related to the custom First Act guitar. (Crispin Porter + Bogusky)

Coasting is Shimano's new line of equipped bikes with participating manufacturers like Giant, Trek, and Raleigh. The Coasting effort is designed to make bicycling more friendly for the 161 million Americans who don't already ride a bike by launching in major cities like Portland, Boston, Chicago, San Fransciso, and Denver. We used outdoor stencils with environmentally friendly spray chalk to create life sized coasting paths everywhere. (Crispin Porter + Bogusky)

Running is endangered. You might find this hard to believe. After all, the number of entrants in your local 10K is surely on the rise, and every Saturday the park is packed with people prancing around in brand new trainers, trying to nurture their chi or look good for their wedding or whatever. Unfortunately, few if any of them are running. They're jogging, a half-hearted fore-aft movement of the legs that, mechanics aside, has about as much in common with running as billiards. And with all the jogging going on out there, actual runners are an increasingly rare breed.
